Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG.OG), Malaysia’s pride on the global esports stage, concludes its “Dream Again” campaign as runner-up in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2025 at the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh. Falling to Team Liquid PH in a fiercely contested 4–1 Grand Final, SRG.OG’s back-to-back Grand Final appearance cements their status as one of the most consistent and resilient teams in the world.

The road to Riyadh was paved with preparation, and the collective strength of the team. Entering MSC 2025, SRG.OG carried the weight of defending their 2024 championship title while being fixated on pursuing a new dream and a new mission. The group stage tested their limits, pushing the team to recalibrate and sharpen their strategies. In the lower bracket, SRG.OG showed their character of champions: bouncing back stronger, beating regional challengers, and rising against international giants. Each victory was a statement that Malaysian esports has the depth, discipline, and determination to stand tall among the best.

By the time SRG.OG advanced into the knockout rounds, their unity and preparation were on full display. Their semifinal victory against ONIC PH, one of the tournament favorites, was more than just a win; it was a showcase of how far holistic and structured preparation and support was shown by every single personnel in the team that took a team to victory. Reaching the Grand Finals 2 seasons in a row speaks volumes about SRG.OG’s elite consistency and their rightful place among the global elite.

This journey, however, has never been theirs alone. It has been powered by the unwavering support of the ecosystem around them. SRG.OG extends its heartfelt gratitude to Esports Integrated (ESI) and the Malaysia Esports Accelerator Program (MEAP) for their steadfast belief and contributions in bringing this campaign to life. The MEAP program, curated to provide training and hospitality support for the team, has helped to optimize the team’s performance and well-being. While the championship title remains in the hands of Team Liquid PH, SRG.OG concludes this campaign with immense pride. To be granted an opportunity to stand toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the world is a reminder that the team’s dream is still pretty much alive, and we are still chasing it. “Dream Again” was never just a campaign; it became a reflection of who we are.
